You will be aware that the recent trial of Mick Philpott, the Derby man who killed six of his children by setting fire to his own home, received a huge amount of coverage in the local and national media.
The Derby Telegraph has won praise from all parts of the media for its exceptional reporting of the trial and its aftermath.  The reporter responsible for most of that coverage, Martin Naylor, has agreed to come and speak to our journalism and media students about his experience.  Martin has also agreed to take questions during the session. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear what it is like to deal with such a major story.
